Need help finding work?

I'm 16 and i'm about to be a Junior in High School in a few months. I live in Southern California and want to know where I should get a job. It doesn't matter where just as long as it is work and pays by the hour. I was thinking Carl's Jr, Shiekh Shoes, or something in the mall. Is there anyone out there who got a job at my age or have a job and are my age? By the way, I'm on Summer break and just want to know where to apply. Thanks!
