My best friend is great. I do love her and I can tell her anything, but when we go out to our favorite dance place, movies, mall, or anywhere she gets hit on by all guys. She even had an old man who had his kids with him ask her out and I was right beside her. I am always beside her when she gets hit on. She is 5'4 and a little round, but very cute, brown hair, blue eyes and she looks like Snookie (From Jersey Shore), but not trashy. Anything she wears looks great. Then there is me 5'6, brown hair, blue eyes, and fell ugly when I am around her. Is it because I don't wear as much makeup or that she is tan or what?? What can I do to get guys to look at me too?

Disable auto-restart in Windows 7?

For some reason my laptop is able to perform Windows updates automatically WHILE IN SLEEP MODE. I left my laptop in sleep mode (close lid) before i went to bed yesterday, and this morning when I came to start the laptop for some reason the laptop is turned on! The screen was the log in screen, and after I logged in there was a notice in the task pane saying "windows has finished installing updates and restarted your computer" or something like that. Now I don't give a damn how the hell my laptop was able to install updates while in sleep mode, but does anyone know HOW TO DISABLE AUTO-RESTART? I had unsaved work left before I left it in sleep mode, and the computer chose to auto-restart while I was sleeping and I lost all that unsaved work! Thanks.

Jaw surgery or braces?

When I was younger I　had braces for 6 years, and when they took my braces off my jaw was straight. however, it got crooked again and its gotten to the point where I　cant completely close my mouth, the teeth the back of my mouth can touch but my front teeth cannot touch eachother because my jaw wont shut. Now my orthadontist says i will need to have braces for maybe two more years to fix my jaw, but I really dont want to deal with that again. Also im not even sure if it will fix my bite for good because it didnt fix it last time. There is also an alternative jaw surgery where they told me that they would basically break my jaw and align it for me. My father also had this surgery when he was younger, which makes me think that maybe i should just get it too cause its probably hereditary or something. Anyone have experience with this? Which option is preferable??

When you saw the cat eating grass there was nothing wrong with it, cats eats grass when they are not feeling good its like us when we eat to much we find something that helps us to relieve it. Grass helps a cat get rid of what ever it is that makes them feel bad. The cat may have not look neglected because cats do find food resources even if its from a trash can which could be the reason it was eating grass. When you feed the cat and continued to do so you made a friend, the cat now knows that she/he is getting better food someplace else and will continue to keep coming back. The cat has established your place as a place to go for food. Cats are very funny, I had four of them all different and unique in their own way I have a cat right now that gets food and water she is an indoor cat and she is fixed but she cries to my husband all the time, I take it that she is telling on me for something. The thing about a cat is that they will stop doing something when they want to, not when you want it to stop. the cat could of been an indoor cat at one time and got out and that is what the cat may be used to and the cat might be simply seeking attention. If you think there is something wrong with him/her then maybe you ought to call a no kill shelter and let them know what happened and some of these paces take cats in, you can also try taking a picture and posting it up, someone may of lost him/her, but if you are real concerned and don't want to deal with it call a no kill shelter. One thing I learned from any animals is that when you feed them they begin to depend on that source. I hope that helps

Fingernail torn off accidentally.?

I was messing around with some friends and I pushed open a window and it slid open really fast and my fingers got caught between the panes and the skin connecting the nail and tissue was torn. The nail is still attached around the cuticle. I want to just pull the nail off and get it over with but someone told me that if the nail came completely off, a new nail wouldn't grow back. Would it be better to simply leave it alone and try to let the tissue reattach itself to the nail (I don't know if that's possible or not), or should i pull it off.

get out there and run anyway. ha ha when i was reading this i felt like i was kind of reading over what i had already written if you know what im trying to say. running and exercise helps build selfasteme and helps with toning your body. i knoe how it feels to pul yourself up out of bed early in the morning DURING SUMMER VACATION just to go running and start my day. beleive me it gets easyier and easier. be that athlete you truly are you know you can do it. the funny thing is im supposed to be running right now and im on the computer haha. but im gonna start going in the morning again first thing tomorrow morning :) you just have to believe that your worth it!!! good luck and dont worry theres a lot of us out there you've just got to make it happen for yourself :)

Hi.....ok so i met this guy on Facebook. He lives in the same state as me. I have seen him at the mall so its not like its some random guy i haven't even seen before. Is it absolutely nescessary to set timing if the main crank has not been moved?

I have a 1987 Nissan pickup with a 2.4 liter z24i engine. I am putting on a new cylinder head because the old one was warped. Prior to dissasembly I marked the timing chain and the cam sprocket so that I could preserve my correct timing, and immobalized the chain by jamming a wooden wedge so that the chain was locked against the tensioners. ( I had hoped I was only going to be swapping out a head gasket) So the main crank and the timing chain have been immobile this whole time. Obviously the valve positioning has been altered since I have a new head. BUT it occurs to me that since the camshaft has a knockpin that fits into the only whole on the cam sprocket, will not the valvetrain return to it's original position once I align the marks I made on the cam sprocket and the timing chain? If so this would save me a LOT of labor since I would not need to remove the timing belt cover to re-establish the correct timing. Am I correct?

Braces? Please help.?

My teeth arnt to bad but i have to have sergury on one of my teeth to put a chain on it and pull it down...which is why i had to get braces. I got them yesterday, i wanted clear because they are less noticable. I really hate them because the bottem had to be silver, the top is fine though. Do you think its possible to get invisaline on the bottem instead? The procedure i needed done is on the top i only need braces on the bottem cause of the way my jaw is aligned or something but its not bad. Also if i couldbt ge invisalign on the bottom...they said i couldnt get clear cause it would destroy my upper teeth cause the clear are stronger than teeth so when i bite down it would ruin them. But they fixed my mouth now so when i bite down my teeth go right above the braces they dont even touch..could i possibly get clear ones? Or invisaline? Please help? Any orthadonists out there? I hate the bottom ones i look terriable.

This is not a bad piece of writing. It flows well, the dialogue is fine and it has a readable style. One or two of your sentences seemed too short to me and could easily have been joined to the next sentence e.g. "It was late. Very late." and you finish one sentence with the word right as though you were expecting an answer and it doesn't work here at all. Try something like "I reasoned that if I stayed up and confronted him he would have to tell me so decided to give it a try." Apart from that keep writing it because it does work and it is readable. Alureon.s has infected and screwed my computer up, help?

i got a trojan called alureon.s, and windows security essentials deleted it and asked to restart my computer. when i turned it back on all my shortcuts had disappeared, and i cant access programs from the start menu. fortunately i can still access files through explorer and through toolbars on the task pane. i retrieved some of my desktop shortcuts when i clicked "show hidden files" in the folder options tab. but still half of them are missing and i cant access them in the start pane. it just says empty, when i click on show all programs. how do i fix it?? i dont have a restore point set up on windows yet, so that won't help.

Editing my first youtube video? How to use Window's Movie Maker?

I am wanting to cut certain pieces out of the video i made, how do i do this? When i imported the video onto wmm, it just came out to be one frame (i did one video earlier and it came up as numerous frames in the "contents pane" i think its called) So the video is just one long frame, if that makes sense. One the storyboard it just has the still photo of the video on the far left, then the rest of the length of the video it has just a white background. What i am asking is how can i clip/delete certain portions of the video? This is the first time i am using it and i really do not know what to do. The Window's "help" tabs weren't that helpful. Replacing cracked thermal pane glass?

Double hung Pella wood window approx 13 yrs old. Was installing a window ac and was screwing in a bracket on the side to hold the window down and you guessed it, the screw was too close to the glass and too long and CRACK goes the inside window pane. Trying to figure how to remove the whole glass insert to replace. The window tilts in and all I see on the outside is metal overlay over the sash. Does the entire sash have to be replaced or is there a way to take apart the sash.

I hate to say it, but yeah, I would probably take the money. (I'm disabled on a limited income. That really shouldn't influence my decision, but realistically it does.) How do teens afford going 'out'?

I find it hard to believe their parents give them money, unless they're rich. I know my mom would make me use my own money if I were to go out. The way I see it, a trip to the mall would cost about $20. The most I could see my mom giving me per week for allowance (I don't even have an allowance right now) is $5, and that would give me enough to go 'out', if I so chose, only once a month, and even then, I would hardly have any money left over ($20 extra a year). But it seems like most teens are going 'out' at least once a week where I live, maybe more. Do their parents really give them the money to do it? I'm a 14 year-old guy by the way.
