System Restore Problems?

if i was you i would try to continues with out the clickng of boxes but i have a whole bunch of problems with system restores when i did it it took me back realy far back and i lost a bunch of files so i bout a part on ebay that takes my hard drive to usb and i just fresh installed the os again
